Waiting For The Barbarians

Multichannel generative music
4.0 ch sound
Duration : generative

Waiting For The Barbarians is an installation of Jules Ramage consisting of 10 wet collodion photographs on metal plate, drawn on art paper (100×141 cm), laminated with musical environment and video device. Jules Ramage compose a sensitive, moving and incomplete map of the relationship between man and his environment and his history particularly through the intersection of art and archaeology. First exhibition at the CentQuatre-Paris, in collaboration with Inrap, within the framework of the european project NEARCH. Generative composition, spatialization, granular and noise synthesis, sound stratification and telluric processing (ERD module of Martin Howse) bring an immersive musical environment coherent with the global aesthetic.
